There are a variety of unique ways to celebrate Halloween at home. Crank up your Halloween music and get into the holiday spirit by carving a pumpkin, making some caramel apples, or telling ghost stories by your backyard fire. Hosting a virtual costume fashion show would be a fun way to still dress up and be able to show off your costume to all your friends and family. My favourite way to celebrate at home is to make a Halloween beverage and do a classic Halloween movie marathon!

Niagara-on-the-lake is the perfect little getaway from the city! With just a short hour and half drive from Toronto, you’ll find a charming town filled with a large array of wineries. It’s become my yearly tradition to make a day trip there for a fun summer activity. I haven’t hit all of the wineries yet, but I have been to quite a few and today I want to share my top five favourite wineries. Now keep in mind that I’m not a wine expert over here! Summer definitely feels a lot different this year. I miss attending all the summer festivals and events, but mostly I miss grabbing food & drinks, and socializing at a restaurant patio; literally the best! It’s great that patios have now slowly started to open, but I’m still a little weary about it and overly cautious. I’ve been mostly sticking to small gatherings (under 6 people) outdoors at home.
