To be honest I never use to care much about my hair. It wasn’t until recently when I was introduced to Mon Platin. This company is a complete game changer! They taught me daily hair care tips and guided me to choose the best hair products to suit my needs. I never knew my hair could feel so smooth and shiny. My goal is to continue to maintain my healthy hair so I can enjoy it for as long as I can. Today I’m sharing the tips I learned. I like to look back on these regularly for a good reminder!
THE BEST HOMEMADE TACO/FAJITA SEASONING
Tacos are my absolute favourite and since Cinco de Mayo is just around the corner, I want to share the best homemade taco seasoning recipe. I love how easy tacos are to whip up during the weekday; slice up some veggies, cook the minced meat and add the seasoning and you’re done dinner in less than 20 minutes. I recommend always making the seasoning because you know exactly what’s going into it. The store bought taco packages contain a lot of unnecessary additives, way too much salt and could even contain MSG. No Thanks!
WATERMELON MARGARITAS
Pre-quarantine, one of my favourite things was looking forward to the weekend where I would meet up with friends for dinner and cocktails. I decided to keep the tradition going by embracing my inner mixologist and create a different cocktail every weekend! Now my virtual dates are much more complete 😉
One of my favourite cocktails I’ve made so far were these Watermelon Margaritas. They are the perfect combination of sweet, salty and spicy, and make the best spring/summer backyard drink. I thought I’d hop on here and share the recipe with you because they turned out delicious…. so delicious, that I made them three nights in a row! Whoops!
