Ok, so I’m obsessing over metallic shoes these days, especially heels! They’ve been trending for a while now and I don’t see them falling out of style any time soon. You can’t go wrong with these metal inspired looks whether it’s gold, silver or bronze… all will give a punch to any party outfit and can be worn all year around. Surprising, they match with just about any colour too. I think they are a must have in every girls closet! I recently picked up a pair of gold metallic heels from Aldo shoes. Very simple, but chic and I know I will get a lot of wear out of them. Best part was they were on sale! 60% off guys!!!!! What a steal! Go check it out before they’re all gone!
Style & Photography books are so much fun to have. I love the stylish covers and the pretty colourful photos. I always refer back to them and pull inspiration. …And they make for the perfect coffee table decor too. Bonus! Some of the ones I really enjoyed are “Love Style Life” by Garance Dore, “All in Good Taste” by Kate Spade New York and “Elements of Style” by Erin Gates. All worthy to own!
I recently bought the book “Celebrate” by Lauren Conrad. I’ve always been a huge fan of LC ever since her days on Laguna Beach and The Hills… yes, I will admit shamelessly that I watched every single episode! I’ve been eyeing her book “Celebrate” every since it came out back in April. Recently, I finally purchased it after flipping through the beautiful vintage style pages at the store and was instantly sold! I haven’t finished reading it yet, but so far so good. There’s some great little tips and tricks on planning and hosting the perfect party. It’s also fun to read about Lauren’s party experiences and I love that there’s a section on her wedding! Very dreamy. Anyway, I’m totally digging this book, so hence it made it under my “current obsessions”.
I love flowers. I mean, I LOOOVE flowers! I’m getting into a habit… not sure if it’s a good or bad habit, but every time I step foot in Whole Foods to do some grocery shopping, I end up wandering over to the flower section to admire all the beautiful flowers. I try to talk myself out of making a purchase, but always end up leaving the place with a bouquet in my hand. They just make me so happy and really liven up my condo.
My go-to flowers are peonies, hydrangeas, tulips, and white roses. I have a smile on my face as I write this… yup, I’m officially a crazy flower lady. haha!
