Halloween is such a fun holiday because it’s that one time of year that we can be kids again; indulge in candy and dress up in creative costumes! Decorating for a Halloween party doesn’t have to be expensive. Here are five easy DIY’s you can do to compliment your everyday serving-wear and transform your space into a sophisticated Halloween party…
#1 DIY PUMKINS
Instead of carving your pumpkins, spray paint them. Way faster and mess free! I spray painted my pumpkins white and painted the stems black. I used a sharpie to draw on fun Halloween greetings.
2) DIY BATS
Take black bristol board and cut into 3 strips. Fold each strip in half and use a pencil to draw out half your bat. Cut and repeat. One bristol board makes around 15 bats.
3) DIY BANNER
Purchase gold glittery poster board from your local craft store. On 3-ring-line paper, draw out the letters to use as a tracer. Tape string onto the back of letters to hang.
4) DIY POM POM
You need one package of tissue paper. Fold the sheets into a fan. Cut the corners to make a round edge on both ends. Tie string right in the middle to hold the tissue papers together. Start peeling back the layers and fluff out to form a pom pom.
5) DIY GHOST BALLOON
Cover a clear white balloon with black tulle.
