Organizing a small kitchen can be challenging. Every single inch has to work twice as hard to accommodate a limited amount of space. In my little condo kitchen, I have a total of 4 drawers and very few cabinets! The good news is that, with the right storage systems, your small kitchen can feel twice as big. Here are some products, ideas and a few tips to help you create a well-organized and functional kitchen.
Tackling Your Drawers
Step One:
To maximize your drawers, start off by purging! Keep only kitchen items you need/use on a regular basis.
If you own multiple sets of accessories or have duplicate appliances, it’s time to part ways and donate make space. Also, if you have any fancy china that you take out only once a year, store them away instead of wasting valuable everyday storage space. Once you’ve narrowed down your essentials, it’ll be much easier to organize the perfect configuration in your drawers.
Step Two:
The easiest way to organize is by using drawer inserts. You’ll be able to see everything and know that each time you return to your kitchen, your items will be in the exact same place instead of sliding around and getting shifted to the back.

Step Three:

The most used drawer in my small kitchen is the utensil drawer, so like most, I make it my top drawer.
