Last weekend the man was out of town, so I decided to host a ladies night! A few of my closest friends came over for some girl talk over dinner, with of course some wine and cheese to start. It turned out to be such a fun night and I’m surprised at how much my friends really enjoyed my simple menu. We started off with Sangria with a platter of cheese (smoked gouda, red wine goat cheese and jalapeño havarti), paired with rosemary crackers, baguettes and sesame breadsticks. YUMMY!!! For dinner, I decided to go casual with garlic & paprika chicken drumsticks, buttery corn on the cob and mini potatoes on the side with a glass of vintage Merlot. We were so full that we didn’t even get to the dessert, but I had vanilla ice cream and organgesicle cupcakes from a local bakery ready to serve. The drumsticks were such a hit, so I thought I’d share the recipe with you. I came across it on Pinterest and in my opinion, it’s by far the best recipe for chicken drumsticks!
