I finally made the leap and made my very first purchase from SHEIN. If you don’t know what/who SHEIN is, they’re a very popular online clothing store known for their trendy and incredibly cheap items. I’ve seen lots of bloggers, YouTubers and even close friends wear some pretty nice outfits from them, but I was always hesitant to purchase. I was uncertain about the quality, the sizing and not being able to return items. To be honest I’m the worst at online shopping. I can never get my sizing right and since it ships from China, I didn’t like the idea of having to wait a long time for my clothing to ship and then have to pay for shipping to send it all the way back if I didn’t like the pieces.
Anyway, long story short, late one night I was scrolling online and the same ad kept popping up for a dress that I had been eyeing. I couldn’t find anything else like it online, so I finally just went for it! I was expecting to receive my order a month later, but surprisingly it came in 10 days. Overall everything fit me and I am quite pleased with my purchase and would feel comfortable to purchase from them again. Here’s my mini haul and the links if you’re interested! Notes: True to size! This is my favourite piece from my mini haul. It’s super comfortable and easy to wash. It’s cute for everyday errands and at home lounging, but also could be dressed up to wear for summer events and festivals. (Hopefully restrictions will be lifted soon!)

Notes: This dress runs a little small for me. I think a Medium would’ve worked better because I have long arms and legs, and I found the dress to be a tad bit on the shorter side. My shoulders are wider, so it’s slightly snug around that area too. It’s still wearable though, so I decided to keep it! I do love the floral print!

Notes: True to size! This dress fits me the best and the most flattering to my body shape out of all the other ones I purchased. I love the tie and the adjustable straps. I feel a dress like this will never really go out of style.
Faux Pearl Handle Rattan Woven Bucket Bag

Notes: The quality is great and it comes with a gold chain to wear as a shoulder or crossbody bag. There’s also lining inside and a tie at the top so nothing falls out. I wish it was a tad bit bigger though.
Floral Wide Leg Pants

Notes: True to Size! The pants run long, but are the perfect length for me with a pair of wedges. (My legs are on the longer side). The colour was advertised as a soft pink and it’s definitely not pink! It’s more of a salmon peach colour. It’s still a pretty colour but if I would’ve known, I would’ve went with the sage green instead.

Notes: Saving the best for last! Well I know I said my fave was the overalls, but this is my favourite dress. LOVE this two piece so much and it’s very versatile. As you can see, I’m wearing the top with a pair of high waisted jeans and they pair nicely together. The top/bust was slightly too big (I’m a 34A), but I just did a quick stitch to the middle V and it fits perfectly now. You can wear the puff sleeves off the shoulder too to give a different look. It’s very girlie and feminine; totally my style! 🙂
