SODASTREAM FIZZI IS YOUR SECRET TO THE PERFECT HOLIDAY COCKTAIL

With the holidays just around the corner, what better way to make use of your SodaStream than to serve bubbly cocktails at your holiday party?!

Here’s a simple and festive holiday cocktail recipe that will please your guest and can be made with or without alcohol; both equally delicious!

Recipe: Sparkling Strawberry Candy Cane Cocktail

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients: 

• 1 cup of strawberry slices
• ½ cup of mint leaves
• 4 cups of sparkling water
• 3 candy canes crushed
• 1 tablespoon of honey (optional)
• 4 oz of Vodka (optional)

Equipment:

• Small pan
• SodaStream (I used the Fizzi, on sale in Kitchen Stuff Plus stores for Black Friday!)
• Blender

Instructions:

Combine strawberries, mint and honey (optional) in a small saucepan.  Heat slowly over medium-low heat until strawberries turn into a puree, about 10 minutes. Remove from stove and let cool for 5 minutes.

Add puree mixture into your blender with vodka (optional) and candy canes. Pulse until smooth.

Set your Strawberry mixture aside and next make soda water using the SodaStream Fizzi Carbonating Machine.

Pour evenly into glasses then add 1-2 tablespoon of the strawberry mixture and stir slowly with a spoon.

Add ice if desired and garnish with mint leaves and/or candy canes.

Serve this holiday cocktail immediately and enjoy.
